Born to Bond offers talking therapy to individuals and families nationwide.
Dr Charlotte supports adults, families and young people experiencing a range of difficulties, including relationship struggles, low mood, anxiety and parenting challenges. You may be struggling with how you feel about yourself, finding relationships difficult or noticing that earlier life experiences are affecting you now.
Dr Charlotte offers a supportive, reflective space where you can talk openly about what is troubling you. Together, you can explore your experience, understand relational patterns that may be holding you back and work towards meaningful change.
Born to Bond’s funded work is focused specifically on parent–infant relationship therapy in Scarborough. All other therapy is offered on a private basis.
Funded Parent-Infant Relationship Therapy in Scarborough: If you are a parent or carer of a baby, or pregnant, and living in Scarborough, you may be eligible for funded parent-infant relationship therapy with Born to Bond.
This specialist parent-infant mental health support may be available through a Circle of Security group (see above) or, subject to availability, as one-to-one parent-infant therapy. Please get in touch if you feel you would benefit from this support.
Private Parent-Infant Relationship Therapy, nationwide: Parents and carers outside of Scarborough can access parent-infant relationship therapy on a private basis via online sessions.
This may be helpful if you are feeling overwhelmed by early parenthood, struggling to connect with your baby, or concerned about how your own experiences are affecting your relationship with your child.
Sessions cost £115 per session. Dr Charlotte is registered with some health insurance providers. Please note that some areas of the UK have specialist parent-infant relationship teams, similar to Born to Bond. Where possible we will share details of provisions in your area.
Individual therapy for adults and young people, nationwide: Dr Charlotte also offers individual talking therapy for adults and young people experiencing emotional or relational difficulties, including anxiety, low mood, relationship difficulties and parenting-related concerns.
Dr Charlotte is currently training in Cognitive Analytic Therapy (CAT, a model which explores relationships) and offers this model to suitable clients. This therapy is available nationwide, either online or in person where appropriate. Sessions cost £115 per session.
